The Brazilian presidential election between incumbent Jair Bolsonaro and former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is underway. Polls show a tight race, with voters in rural communities and indigenous communities receiving special transportation to ensure their voting rights. The Economist and The New York Times are tracking the results, while international figures like former US President Donald Trump are monitoring the outcome. A recent report indicates that a tribunal has ordered the government to provide transportation for native voters. The election is expected to be closely watched by national observers and international observers.
