Nikita Zadorov of the Boston Bruins was sat out for the game against the Kings due to penalty issues. The Bruins had recently had a five-game winning run, and a message from coach Marco Sturm was paired with the announcement. Zadorov was healthy but scrubbed for the game. The team's recent successful run continued with the decision to scratch Zadorov.
